Please consider being a part of our barnraiser campaign. Our large barn was destroyed in a tornado about a year ago and we are finally making plans to rebuild. Please reach us at hello@eatersacres.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.
A: On the farm we follow organic principles, however we are not(yet) certified organic. Generally we take a holistic approach to everything we grow taking care of the farm as an ecosystem that thrives with minimal inputs from off farm. As much as possible we make our own compost for fertilizer and we utilize a free range poultry flock to help minimalize insect pest. We also follow various principles of permaculture, biodynamics and regenerative agriculture, but have not obtain any one certification. For more information please send a message or arrange to come out for a visit.
A: Everything possible we grow on farm. Right now that is all vegetables and herbs, soon in upcoming seasons we will have fruit as well. We also forage wild edibles from the fields and forest on the farm property.
A: Right in our licensed on-farm kitchen! We harvest from our gardens and go right into the farm kitchen for processing into our various farm products.
